Horton Grand Hotel in the San Diego Gaslamp Historic District, is an unusual merger of two 1886 Gaslamp hotels that were slated for demolition and moved to this site in 1981. Wyatt Earp lived in the former Brooklyn Hotel—the western half—for most of his seven years in San Diego.
